Les matriculated from Springs Technical High School and obtained his Mechanical Engineering Diploma from Springs Technical College. He qualified as a Motor Mechanic at a Mercedes Benz dealership and was head teacher at his alma mater Springs Technical High School, teaching Motor Mechanics.
He then joined the Motor Industries Federation as head of the Motor Industries training Centre and re-joined Mercedes Benz as General Service Manager. Les started Specialist Service Centre 29 yrs ago and is currently a director and shareholder at MOVE workshops which is a workshop concept designed to enhance the effectiveness and profitability of independent aftermarket workshops.
Les serves as a Director on the R2RSA campaigning for the motorists right of choice. He gives back to the Industry in the form of serving on the various structures within the Retail Motor Industry having been a Board Member and National Chairman of the Motor Industries Workshop Association where he serves as the current Vice-Chairman
